 May - July 2022 Update Effective July 1, 2022

Important Update: The Jamestown Sanitary District has been approved for the LIHWAP grant funded program with the California Low Income Household Water Assistance Program for eligible overdue wastewater service accounts.   Please see following LIHWAP flyer for direct ATCAA contact information for the ATCAA Sonora Energy Program representatives.  

Final Year of the Adopted Five-Year Rate Structure Increase to Sewer Utility Service Fees

Monthly sewer utility service rates per single ESFR issued July 1, 2022 will reflect increase. Monthly sewer service fee increase for year 5 of the rate plan will increase at base rate of $81.55.  For all non-single ESFR properties, the adopted User Demand factor classification shall be used in assigning monthly sewer utility service rates. 

All JSD serviced customers are responsible for paying the monthly sewer utility service fees as billed on their property account for provided sewer service. Monthly set fees are required for the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment facilities and collection infrastructure in order to serve our customers efficiently under required State and Federal health and safety guidelines.

The Board of Directors of the Jamestown Sanitary District have made the decision to enact an additional delay of one year of the 5th and final year of the Jamestown Sanitary District required and adopted five fiscal year sewer service increase rate plan.  Monthly sewer service fee increase for year 5 of the rate plan will not go into effect until July 1, 2022.  Monthly single service rate will remain at base rate of $73.45 for one more year until July 2022.
