Pay Your Bill

Effective September 1, 2021!

Customer payment convenience and transaction fees have been eliminated.  

The $1.00 convenience fee and 3% transaction fee on your monthly account balance charged by the payment processing vendor will no longer be added to your online or automated phone pay Credit Card or e-Check payments. This is good news and a cost savings for you, our valued customers, in continuing to keep your monthly sewer service account current and to avoid delinquent account penalties.

Please use the convenience of one of the following choices to pay your monthly bill

Paying your monthly sewer service bill via Credit Card or e-Check (available 24/7):  

Payments Online: Credit Card or Bank e-Check: https://jamestownsanitarydistrict.afts.com

Payments by Phone: Credit Card of Bank e-Check by calling the automated Phone Payment system at 209-916-6006.

Credit Card, Bank e-check and automated phone payments made after 10:00 am are processed on the next business day.

Payments by Mail: Check or Money Order payable to the Jamestown Sanitary District are to be mailed to P.O. Box 980067, West Sacramento, CA 95798-0067. Cash payments will not be accepted. Payments are not processed in Jamestown. Mailed payments received after 12:00 p.m. are processed on the next business day. 

Please update your Bill Pay auto check payment with your new account number and the new West Sacramento mailing address to insure your account payment is applied correctly.

The Jamestown Sanitary District office will remain closed for all in-person services but we are available via phone: 209-984-5177 or email: jsdistrict@mlode.com for your sewer service account or general information needs.

Effective October 1, 2021, the United States Postal Service (USPS) has revised its service standards for certain First-Class Mail items, resulting in a delivery window of up to five days. Please note that this may delay your receipt of mail from us and our receipt of mail from you (including mailed payments). Please take this change into account when mailing items to us via USPS.

The Board of Directors of the Jamestown Sanitary District have made the decision to enact an additional delay of one year of the 5th and final year of the Jamestown Sanitary District required and adopted five fiscal year sewer service increase rate plan.  Monthly sewer service fee increase for year 5 of the rate plan will not go into effect until July 1, 2022.  Monthly single service rate will remain at base rate of $73.45 for one more year and update will be noted on June billing.

All serviced customers are responsible for paying monthly sewer service fees as billed on their account for provided sewer service. Monthly service fees are required for the maintenance of our wastewater treatment facility and collection system in order to serve you efficiently under required health and safety guidelines.
