Effective 1 July 2026 Jamestown Sanitary District has transitioned billing to the County Property Tax Roll eliminating monthly sewer bills. Monthly charges will be applied to county property taxes annually each fiscal year as an assessment and paid to the county with property taxes.
Customers may be eligible for some financial assistance from ATCAA through an Energy Conservation Program available through November of 2026. Link is below:
Years ago JSD was enrolled in The California Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) however it officially ended March 31, 2024. This federally funded, short-term program was created by Congress during the pandemic to help low-income families pay down their water and sewer bills.
